Two firms act on agreement between Auren Energia and Minasligas
Madrona Fialho Advogados and Rolim Goulart Cardoso acted on an agreement between Auren Energia and Minasligas for the self-production of renewable energy in three special purpose companies (SPE), which are part of the Sol de Jaíba photovoltaic park, located in the north of Minas Gerais.
The 15-year partnership will guarantee the supply of solar energy from the Sol de Jaíba park to the Minasligass plants in Pirapora (MG) and Simões Filho (BA). Minasligas is one of Brazil’s biggest players in the production of ferroalloys and silicon metal.
In 2025, Minasligas will have access to 22 average MW of energy and, from 2026, 33 average MW of energy, becoming part of Auren’s corporate structure under the Self-Production by Equalization model.
