Two firms advise on the acquisition of small hydroelectric plants
Souto Correa and Pinheiro Neto acted on the acquisition of two companies that managed two hydroelectric plants located in State of Mato Grosso (PCHs – pequenas centrais hidrelétricas). For this deal Gerdau Group used their energy investment entities to buy the companies from Atiaia Energia, a renewable energy company controlled by Grupo Cornélio Brennand.
The transaction value was BRL 440 million.
