Two firms advise on the Crédito Universitário (FIDC) issue
FreitasLeite Advogados and Souto Correa Advogados advised on the public offering of quotas of the Crédito Universitário Receivables Investment Fund – Limited Liability (FIDC). The offering was registered under CVM Resolution No. 160 (ordinary registration route) and raised BRL 468 million.
The proceeds will finance undergraduate programs in the private higher education sector, with the goal of expanding Brazilian students’ access to higher education. Beyond its size, the deal’s significance lies in enabling affordable undergraduate pathways and widening access to higher education.
