Veirano advises Pet Care on Cães & Gatos acquisition
Veirano Advogados has advised Pet Care Group on the acquisition of the entire equity interest in five companies of the Cães & Gatos Group. Pet Care Group made the purchase through its affiliates. The target companies operate veterinary hospitals and clinics, pet shops, and animal health and wellness services in Brazil.
The targets are Animal Health Cães e Gatos, Animal Health Campo Limpo, Clínica Veterinária Inocêncio Seráfico, Sekay Comércio e Representação, and Ozpet Taboão Comércio Produtos e Serviços para Animais. They are active in veterinary services and in pet and pet product retail. The sellers are individuals, and the buying affiliates include Centro Veterinário 004 and Itanhangá Petshop Artigos e Produtos Veterinários.
Veirano Advogados acted as legal adviser to the buyer with a team that included partners Augusto Cesar Barbosa de Souza and Diego Yago Rodrigues, together with associate Gustavo Paiva.
Manassero Advogados advised the sellers, with associates Felipe Hupsel and Evandro Galhazi.
