Veirano Advogados adds four to partnership

Veirano Advogados announced the promotion of three associates in Sao Paulo and one in Rio de Janeiro to the partnership.

Filipe Richter is now a partner in the tax practice group. He is based in São Paulo and has more than 16 years of experience in tax litigation, consulting and planning, being involved in M&A deals and in the coordination of audit activities for both Brazilian and foreign clients. Richster holds a Master’s degree in International Tax Law from Wirtschaftsuniversität in Vienna and is is also a member of Veirano´s healthcare practice group and the German Desk.

Renata Fialho co-heads the firm´s healthcare practice group and is also a member of the firm´s German Desk. Her experience spans over 15 years and covers corporate, M&A, private equity and complex commercial and international issues. Fialho holds a Ph.D from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and a LL.M degree from Columbia Law School in New York. 

Mateus Carreteiro is the third new partner in Sao Paulo. He has 13 years of experience in complex arbitration and litigation cases. His professional experience includes representing clients in national and international arbitrations. Carreteiro holds a a Ph.D from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and a LL.M degree from Columbia Law School of New York.

Pedro Boueri works in the dispute resolution practice group in Rio de Janeiro and has over 15 years of experience in complex negotiations and litigation. Boueri holds a LL.M degree from Columbia Law School in New York, and coordinates the wealth and estate planning and family law practice group of the firm. 

Veriano started 2017 on expansion mode, the firm recently added former Rabobank legal director Daniela Anversa as a partner.
