Meet the new Partners:
• Carolina Vasconcelos – Law degree from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, she has worked for over 16 years in the areas of corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. Carolina has extensive experience in transactions involving public and closed companies, private equity funds, companies in judicial recovery and corporate reorganizations, having advised national and international clients.

• Clarissa Yokomizo – Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Wales and a Master’s degree in Private International Law and International Trade from the Université Panthéon-Assas. She strengthens the Corporate & Mergers and Acquisitions team with her solid expertise in mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate, contractual, and antitrust law. The professional assists national and foreign clients in complex transactional cases, involving several jurisdictions.

• Fabio Di Lallo – Doctor of Law and master’s degree in law from USP (University of São Paulo) and coauthor of the Manual de Direito da Energia Elétrica (Electric Energy Law Manual), Fabio will bring his remarkable expertise to the Infrastructure & Projects and Power teams. With a strong background in public law and regulatory, focusing on the energy practice area, his experience comprises strategic consultancy matters, contract drafting, administrative proceedings performance, and strategic performance in pre litigation, project structuring for energy generation.

• Giedre Brajato – LLM in Corporate Law from Insper, Giedre joins the Corporate & Mergers and Acquisitions team. She practices corporate and contractual law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, succession planning, adoption of corporate governance principles, and counseling on concession agreements in the water and sewage sector. Her practice also involves legal counsel to national and international clients in estate and succession planning.

• Ingrid Thomas Hessling – Postgraduate in Corporate Law from IBMEC and has now become a part of the Capital Markets & Investment Funds team, an area in which she has been working for almost 20 years. Focusing on public offerings of securities in general, structuring investment funds, securitization operations, debt restructuring and corporate operations. The new partner participates in public offerings involving shares, debentures, commercial notes, investment fund shares (FIDC, FII, FI Agro, FI Infra and FIP), real estate receivables certificates, agribusiness receivables certificates, among other securities.

• Juliana Melcop – Lawyer acting in electrical energy regulation since 2012, with in house experience in a generation company. Master (2016) and PhD (2023) in Law from UFPE, with a dissertation and thesis in energy regulation. Visiting researcher at the Universidad Externa do de Colombia (2022) and the University of Cambridge (2023). Professor of specialization courses in electrical energy regulation.
• Lívia Amorim – Livia strengthens the Infrastructure & Projects and Power teams. The lawyer, LLM in Petroleum Taxation and Finance from CEPMLP Universi ty of Dundee, was a researcher at the ‘Centro de Estudos em Regulação de Infraestrutura da FGV’ (Fundação Getulio Vargas). She has been working in oil and gas, electric power, and renewable fuels for over 12 years, advising national and international clients providing legal advice on regulatory issues, sales of infrastructure assets and contracts.

• Mauricio Paschoal – Mauricio holds a master’s degree in law from Columbia Law School and has substantial experience in mergers and acquisitions, contracts and capital markets matters, including sales and acquisitions of companies and assets, joint ventures, special situations, financial transactions and offerings of debt and equity securities. In addition to transactional matters, Mauricio has significant experience in corporate law, regulation of the Brazilian Securities Commission and the Central Bank of Brazil, compensation and wealth and estate planning matters.
