Veirano and Pinheiro Guimarães advise on Lwart issuance
Veirano Advogados advised the issuer, Pinheiro Guimarães Advogados advised the underwriters on the public offering of the 1st issuance of green debentures of Lwart Soluções Ambientais, in the total amount of BRL 500 million.
Lwart Soluções Ambientais is a 100% Brazilian company, a global reference in the production of base oil from used and contaminated lubricating oil, and the only producer in Latin America of high-performance base oils (Group II) from this waste.
The entirety of the net proceeds raised from the issuance will be allocated towards the ordinary management of Lwart Soluções Ambientais S.A.’s business, in line with the Company’s ESG Framework, for the purpose of green qualification.
Considered eligible projects are those operated and/or to be operated by Lwart and/or its subsidiaries aligned with the categories of “Renewable Energy”, “Pollution Prevention and Control”, “Green Buildings and Products”, “Technology and Processes adapted to the Circular Economy”, as established in the Company’s ESG Framework.
