Veirano announces 4 associates promoted to the firm

Veirano Advogados begins 2024 with 4 associates promoted to the partnership: Cintia de Morais Andrade, Diego Ruiz, Guilherme D’Aguiar, Gustavo Treistman (pictured from left to right) now the firm counts on 86 partners.

The reinforcement covers the following areas: intellectual property, conflict resolution, corporate & mergers and acquisitions, and tax & customs.

Meet the new partners of Veirano Advogados:

Cintia de Morais Andrade: With over fifteen years of experience working with contract law, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, Cintia has advised clients in various regulated and non-regulated industrial segments. The new partner also has experience in technology, data protection and privacy, including analysis of governance and privacy policies, terms of use and contracts considering data processing standards and compliance in data protection and privacy. Security incidents, interface with the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), adaptation programs to the General Personal Data Protection Law (LGPD), analysis of legal and governance risks and preparation of action plans are also part of the work of the new partner who will remain based in the Rio de Janeiro office.

Diego Ruiz: works in São Paulo, in conflict resolution. With a specialization in Business Law, Diego acted in complex judicial and arbitration proceedings involving general corporate matters, including post-M&A disputes, definition of the acquisition price in M&A operations, administrators’ liability, and exclusion of partners. Diego also acted in construction, business contracts, civil liability, and Public Law disputes.

Guilherme D’Aguiar: with approximately 20 years of experience, Guilherme acts in litigation and arbitration areas in Rio de Janeiro. The new partner works in highly complex lawsuits, both in Brazilian courts and in national and international arbitrations.

Gustavo Treistman: with approximately 20 years of experience, Gustavo works for national and foreign clients in various segments, such as telecommunications, oil & gas, shopping centers, electricity, mining and others. In addition to working in the tax and customs area with a focus on judicial and administrative litigation at the federal, state and municipal levels, Gustavo also participates in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) operations in Brazil and coordinates legal audits in the tax area. The new partner will work in the Rio de Janeiro office.
