Veirano enhances energy practice with new partner
With a focus on energy and regulatory matters, lawyer Mariella Gondim Rocha (pictured) is the new partner of Veirano Advogados.
Mariella will join the Firm’s broad infrastructure group, directing her practice to the power sector, with an emphasis on renewable energies, energy policies, energy transition and related topics.
Mariella has extensive experience over two decades, and unique knowledge of the entire chain of national and cross-border renewable energy projects, including corporate aspects, M&A transactions, regulatory compliance, construction agreements (EPC), project finance, loans and collaterals, among others possibilities.
Having worked in different Brazilian law firms, Mariella has an LL.M. from Universität zu Köln, in Germany, with a scholarship granted by the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation. She obtained the Summa Cum Laude degree and her final work was chosen among the top five of the year by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). In addition to specialization courses, Mariella holds a degree in Law from Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC).
Mariella Rocha will work from the São Paulo office of Veirano Advogados alongside over 25 professionals.
