Veirano Advogados fortaleceu a área de M&A and CApital Markets com o retorno de Felipe Demori Claudino as partner
Felipe Demori Claudino (pictured) returns to Veirano as partner, with a successful and diversified career spanning over two decades, the new partner will work from Rio de Janeiro, strengthening the Firm’s already robust M&A and capital markets team.
With extensive experience working in traditional asset management firms and some of the largest Brazilian law firms, Felipe returns to the Firm – he was an associate between 2003 and 2006 – to continue his diversified career of 25 years in the market, covering M&A transactions, private equity and venture capital investments, besides asset management, wealth management, corporate finance and capital markets.
Throughout his career, Felipe has been a board member of private and publicly-held companies, in addition to actively participating in study groups related to corporate governance, capital markets and related topics in relevant associations such as the Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association (ANBIMA), Brazilian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (ABVCAP) and Association of Capital Market Investors (AMEC).
In addition to working at Veirano in the early 2000s, Felipe practiced in other renowned Brazilian law firms. He founded his own in 2015: Demori Claudino Sociedade de Advogados. He was also a co-founder of Leblon Equities, a traditional asset management firm focused on Brazilian equity, where he worked for many years. Between 1998 and 1999, he was an international associate at the New York office of Shearman & Sterling.
Felipe holds an MBA degree in Corporate Finance from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and is a Bachelor of Laws from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
Based in Veirano’s Rio de Janeiro office, Felipe Demori Claudino will work in an integrated fashion with a team of over 65 professionals dedicated to M&A and capital markets.
