Veirano introduces a new partner to intelectual property practice

With 25 years of experience in intellectual property, Bruna Rego Lins (pictured) is the new partner of Veirano Advogados. Based in Rio de Janeiro, Bruna arrives to expand and strengthen the team, bringing a successful track record in advising clients with diverse profiles in sophisticated matters encompassing consulting, negotiation and complex intellectual property litigation, in Brazil and abroad.

Her IP practice is extensive, covering trademarks, patents, copyright, software,
franchising, technology transfer and related topics. In addition, Bruna has an outstanding practice in fashion law, a legal branch that has grown in recent years.

A frequent speaker at Brazilian and international events, Bruna is a co-author of books and a professor at renowned institutions, such as Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), Escola Superior de Advocacia (ESA/OAB) and Ibmec. Her activities also include active
participation in trade associations. Bruna is Vice-President of the Licensing Executives
Society Brazil (LES Brazil), Vice Chair of the Communications Committee of the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) and a member of the Women in LeadershIP Project Team of the International Trademark Association (INTA), among others.

Bruna developed her career in the leading intellectual property firms in the Brazilian
market, in addition to founding a small business law firm, her most recent initiative. With an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from The George Washington University in Washington DC, Bruna holds a Master’s in Intellectual Property and Innovation from the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and a Post-Graduate Degree in Intellectual Property from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).

Bruna Rego Lins will work alongside a team of over 30 professionals organized between Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Porto Alegre and Brasília, all dedicated to intellectual property and related topics.
