Veirano launches an area dedicated to gaming and betting
Veirano consolidates its performance in legal advice for the gaming and betting market, with reinforcement in ethical implementation related to responsible gaming, compliance, and prevention of money laundering.
The foray takes place through the launch of the gaming and bets industry area, which provides legal services to operators, platforms, payment methods, game developers, and certifiers working in the sports betting, lotteries, and online casinos.
The area has multidisciplinary operations aiming to advise companies to be incorporated in Brazil, assist in corporate operations, work on procedures to obtain authorization to operate betting in the country, and organize policies, among other legal demands.
The lawyers will also assist strategic departments within this ecosystem, such as technology contracts and advertising issues, and interface with sports clubs and influencers.
“This is the year of the betting law in Brazil, and we entered this market with a team of experts in all strategic segments of this ecosystem. We followed the entire debate in the National Congress, from the presentation of the proposal in the Congress to the sanction of the law in December. We are prepared to guide players interested in regulatory issues in the sector”, says Pedro Simões (pictured), coordinator of the Gaming and Bets area at Veirano.
