Veirano welcomes a new team of 16 professionals

Veirano Advogados has strengthened administrative, regulatory and competition practices, expanding the range of services offered to the market with a new team under the leadership of partners Elinor Cotait, Ana Claudia Beppu, Enrico Romanielo, Beatriz França and Francisco Sampaio. The team also includes a consultant, associates, lawyers, and trainees.

The firm’s newest team has a successful track record in multidisciplinary representation of clients before regulatory agencies, antitrust agencies and other Public Administration bodies at the federal, state and municipal levels. The group also has experience in public tenders, government contracts and public-private partnerships.

Meet the new partners:

• Elinor Cotait has a successful career of more than 30 years in the administrative and regulatory field, with an emphasis on telecommunications, media, technology and privacy. Certified in Business Excellence by the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley (USA), Elinor has a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP).
• Ana Claudia Beppu has over 20 years of experience in the administrative and regulatory field, with a focus on infrastructure, telecommunications, media, technology, and privacy. She holds a Master in Law and Development from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), Ana Claudia is a specialist in Constitutional Law from Escola Superior de Direito Constitucional (ESDC) and Bachelor of Laws from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP).
• Enrico Romanielo has more than 15 years of experience in antitrust and competition practice, with major emphasis in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Enrico holds a master’s degree in Commercial Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), a post-graduate degree in Economic Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Economics from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU).
• Beatriz França has more than 15 years of experience in administrative and regulatory issues, especially in telecommunications and with relevant work in the satellite industry. She has a post-graduate degree in Administrative Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), Beatriz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the same institution.
• Francisco Sampaio has almost 15 years of excellent performance in the regulatory and administrative fields, with focus on telecommunications and infrastructure. Francisco holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP).

The new group of Veirano Advogados will operate mainly from the São Paulo office, with two professionals based in Rio de Janeiro and another two in Brasília.
