Vidigal Neto and Lefosse act on Bemol issuance

Vidigal Neto Advogados advised Bemol and Lefosse advised Banco Itaú BBA and Caixa Econômica Federal in Bemol’s second issuance of nonconvertible debentures, in a single series , in the total amount of BRL 250 million, for public offering, pursuant to CVM 160.

The net proceeds raised by Bemol through the issuance will be used to the payment of the company’s short-term debts. The debentures will be secured by fiduciary assignment of credit rights resulting from escrow accounts held by the company wherein the payment of certain credit card transactions, as well as cash collateral, will be deposited and transit.
