Vieira Rezende announces the addition of Carla Miranda Godoy (pictured) as partner in the Litigation & Arbitration and Crisis Management practices, with a focus on the financial and capital markets. Her arrival strengthens the firm’s already consolidated practices and reaffirms its commitment to providing comprehensive legal solutions in increasingly complex scenarios.
Carla has extensive experience in judicial and administrative disputes involving the financial and capital markets, as well as in corporate crisis management. Her practice includes, in addition to cases before the Judiciary and Arbitral Tribunals, proceedings and investigations before the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the Central Bank of Brazil, the Federal Comptroller General’s Office, Audit Courts, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and other authorities. She holds a law degree from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and a Master’s degree in Corporate Law from Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris II), where she presented her dissertation on the civil liability of independent auditors. Carla previously worked for 10 years at Pinheiro Neto Advogados and also held leadership positions in the Legal Departments of B3 and BNY Mellon.
