Vieira Rezende announces new partner
Vieira Rezende annonced Paula Padilha (pictured) as the new partner in the energy & natural resources group at the law firm. Based in São Paulo, she will lead activities related to the power and infrastructure sectors. Paula has over fifteen years of experience in related issues, especially regulatory matters and administrative litigation.
Paula joins us to enhance a multidisciplinary practice that is already strong in the firm, expanding Vieira Rezende’s scope and the firm to participate in increasingly complex projects.
Major auctions in the transmission and reserve power, the opening of the market for consumer migration to the Free Contracting Environment, and the renewals of concessions for distributors, as well as merger and acquisition transactions in energy transition projects, are on the firm’s radar.
