Viseu Advogados launches subscription DPO service
Viseu Advogados launched the DPO (Data Protection Officer) service on a subscription basis. This is an innovation in this type of service.
The model consists in providing the service through a team of lawyers certified for the DPO function, in order to perform the main activities provided for in the General Law of Data Protection (LGPD). To gain scale, the firm will use a technology platform to ensure automation, security, and control in the management of its team’s tasks.
Antonielle Freitas (pictured), head of the data protection area and DPO at Viseu Advogados, says that this type of service offers greater autonomy in the execution of tasks involving the company’s compliance with LGPD. For her, besides being a more economical solution, the subscription service prevents conflicts and guarantees the necessary exemption to the function.
