White & Case acts for dealers on BBVA Mexico issuance

White & Case has advised the dealers on BBVA Mexico’s issuance of $500 million of senior unsecured notes

The notes have a five-year maturity and an interest rate of 1.875 per cent, and are listed on the Global Exchange Market (GEM) of Euronext Dublin.

This was the second issuance under BBVA Mexico’s $10 billion Rule 144A/Reg S medium-term note program.

The White & Case team was led by partner Taisa Markus (pictured) and included counsel Henrikki Harsu (both in New York), associate Diego Canepa Fernandez (in Mexico City), and tax partner Ray Simon (in New York).
