Xavier Vasconcelos Advogados has a new partner in Brasília

Xavier Vasconcelos Advogados welcomes Beatriz Bastide Horbach (pictured) as a new partner in its Brasília office.

Beatriz was an advisor to Justice Gilmar Mendes at the Federal Supreme Court (STF) for almost 15 years. She holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Tübingen in Germany and a PhD in State Law from the University of São Paulo (USP). She is a professor of public law and coordinator of the Hans Kelson Study Center on Constitutional Jurisdiction at IDP in Brasília. She returns to the legal profession after her long experience at the STF to join the firm’s strategic litigation, conflict resolution, public and constitutional law team.

With offices in São Paulo and Brasília, Xavier Vasconcelos Advogados focuses on providing consultancy and litigation services in public law, specializing in constitutional, administrative, regulatory and sanctioning law.
