Zang Bergel Viñes assists Austral Gold on Rawhide acquisition

Argentinian law firm Zang Bergel Viñes (ZBV) has assisted Austral Gold Limited (AGD) in the acquisition by its subsidiary in Nevada, Austral Gold North America Corp., of a 23-per cent share in Rawhide Acquisition Holding, a Delaware-incorporated company wholly owned by Rawhide Mining, and whioh owns the Rawhide gold and sliver mine, located 80km from Fallon, Nevada. 

Pablo Vergara del Carril of ZBVThe transaction is worth around $4 million. Rawhide previously operated as a subsidiary of Kennecott Corp., before New York-based private equity firm Coral Reef Capital acquired the property from Rio Tinto Plc in 2010.

“ZBV has worked shoulder-to-shoulder with Austral Gold and worked on all its projects and transactions in Argentina, Chile, Australia and Canada since 2003,” Vergara del Carril said.
