This week in Brazil, Davis Polk acted for Raízen on a $500 million bond offering while Simpson Thacher advised Riverwood Capital on its investment in a local hail-ride provider.
In El Salvador, beer producer AB InBev received the all clear from the competition regulator regarding its acquisition of SABMiller, with the assistance of Lexincorp. Elsewhere in the region, Hogan Lovells advised Playa Hotels & Resorts, a hotel company with operations in Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Mexico, on its combination with Pace Holdings.
