This week, PPU succesfully defended a Saudi oil company in a lawsuit in Colombia while in Chile, law firm Carey acted for financial services company Incofin on a $40 million bond issuance.
In Argentina, high-end property developer RAGHSA tapped the markets and instructed Cleary Gottlieb while Simpson Thacher acted for the dealer managers. Next door, in Uruguay, Ferrere announced their new regional managing partner.
Meanwhile, a new arbitration boutique with social goals was launched in Costa Rica while Consortium Legal advised airline Volaris in obtaining flight permits in El Salvador.
Elsewhere, Dominican Republic law firm Headrick announced three new partners and in Peru, Miranda & Amado reprised its role advising Interbank on a new issue by Financiera Oh!.
