Cuatrecasas represents Etermar Peru in Kutuctay Bridge project
Cuatrecasas, through its team in Lima, represented Etermar – Engenharia y Construção Perú in the adjudication, negotiation and signing of an EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contract for the development and execution of the Kutuctay Bridge and Accesses Project in the province of Cotabambas, Apurímac.
This operation had a value of more than $40 million soles and, thanks to it, Etermar has been able to close its first EPC contract with a mining company in Peru.
Aldo Reggiardo, lead partner of the operation mentioned: “The project will be carried out under the mechanism of Works for Taxes being financed by Minera Las Bambas […] The scheme through which the project will be carried out allows the execution of public infrastructure works of relevance through private financing and development”.
Etermar, a European company in the engineering and construction sector, recognised for its experience in maritime and hydraulic works, began operations in Peru in 2017.
