Lefosse advises Syngenta on investment in Ultrafine

Lefosse acted as counsel to Syngenta Proteção de Cultivos on the acquisition of one of the production plants owned by Ultrafine Technologies Indústria e Comércio de Produtos Químicos, located in the city of Indaiatuba, State of São Paulo, Brazil, related to production, tolling, processing, treatment, micronization of crop protection products.

Syngenta has more than 2,900 employees and is part of a complex and shared production chain, which involves suppliers with a wide range of profiles – from the cutting-edge chemical industry and global operations to agricultural companies, independent producers and farmers’ cooperatives.

Ultrafine is a Brazilian company founded in 1982, installed in the industrial district of Indaiatuba, with facilities equipped with the most modern technology for the production of agrochemicals and
micronization, mixtures and particle classification of industrial chemical powders.

The acquisition adds value to customers’ products by offering the best technical alternative with the best return on investment, furthering Syngenta’s position as agricultural market leader in the world.
