Duarte Garcia, Serra Netto e Terra announces new hires

Duarte Garcia, Serra Netto e Terra – Sociedade de Advogados has announced the addition of new partner Carolina da Silva Leme (pictured) and associate Felipe de Almeida Andreassi to its criminal law and compliance practice.

Carolina has more than 10 years in the area, extensive experience in some of the most renowned law firms in Brazil, as well as important degrees obtained from select national and international educational institutions.

With more than 10 years’ experience in the area, the new partner comments: “I decided to study law when I was very young and my inclination has always been towards criminal law. At the start of my degree, I thought I would be applying for public exams. In my third year, I joined an internship program at a renowned law firm that only deals with criminal cases and I fell in love with law. From then on, I knew for sure that I wanted to pursue a career as a lawyer.”

Carolina is enthusiastic about her new professional challenge, now as a partner at the law firm: “The invitation to join the Duarte Garcia team couldn’t have pleased me more.
