RAD assists Camposol in $40m credit facility
Rebaza Alcázar & De Las Casas, through its Lima office, has assisted Camposol as borrower, and Camposol Holding PLC, as guarantor, in a USD 40 million credit facility granted by Coöperatieve Rabobank.
The financing contract was signed on 24 October. The borrowers plan to use the proceeds of this financing to fund the company’s working capital and other corporate uses.
Other participating firms were Posse Herrera Ruiz as advisor to Camposol in Colombia; and Estudio Echecopar and Baker & McKenzie as advisors to Coöperatieve Rabobank in Peru and Colombia, respectively.
Camposol is an international company in the agricultural sector, with clients in more than 40 countries and with the world’s leading supermarket partners.
Alvaro Carrasco and Jorge Alberto Molina acted as in-house advisors for Camposol, while Juan Izquierdo and Jorge Miranda acted as in-house advisors for Coöperatieve Rabobank.
RAD’s team was led by partner Daniel Gonzáles (pictured left), with support from senior associate Maite Colmenter and associate Valeria Sánchez.
Posse Herrera Ruiz’s team consisted of partner Jesús Albarrán and associates Catalina Posada and Felipe Arroyave.
