Echecopar advises Interbank in new issuance of certificates of deposit

Estudio Echecopar, associated with Baker & McKenzie International, has advised Banco Internacional del Perú – Interbank, as issuer, arranger and placement agent, in the structuring and registration with the Public Registry of the Securities Market of its Second Negotiable Certificates of Deposit Programme for an amount of up to USD 200 million and the first issue under such programme for an amount of up to 700 million soles.

Thanks to this operation, Interbank will be able to launch a public offering of securities under the same programme, the proceeds of which will be used to finance the issuer’s banking activities.
