Multiple firms on the acquisition of control of Eletromidia by Globo

Multiple firms acted on the acquisition of all shares issued by Eletromídia held by Vesuvius LBO – Fundo de Investimento em Participações Multiestratégia Investimento no Exterior, by Globo Comunicação e Participações, corresponding to 65,923,980 common shares, representing 47.094% of Eletromidia’s share capital.

The transaction value was aprox BRL 1.911.795.420,00

The transaction represents an evolution in Globo’s strategy of diversifying and complementing its businesses and consolidating its strategy of expanding Globo’s presence in the public’s pathway.

The out of home (OOH) media segment is complementary to Globo’s ecosystem of channels and platforms, which will be able to offer increasingly complete advertising solutions to its partners and advertisers.
