Machado Meyer and Cescon Barrieu advise on Unidas issue

Machado Meyer advised the issuer; Cescon Barrieu advised the underwriters on the 19th issuance of simple nonconvertible unsecured debentures, in a single series, of Unidas Locações e Serviços, for public distribution, without prior analysis, under the CVM 160.

With over 180 stores across Brazil, Unidas is one of the largest vehicle rental companies in the country. The offering contributed to the development of the issuer’s activities in the automotive sector.

The offering was conducted within the timeframe required by the Issuer’s schedule, reconciling the interests of all parties involved, while prioritizing technical excellence and legally appropriate solutions to the challenges encountered.

The total amount of transaction was BRL 600 million. The debentures were guaranteed by Unidas Locadora.

Machado Meyer advised Unidas and relied on partner Gustavo Rugani do Couto e Silva (pictured left), lawyers Fernanda Marques Ribeiro, Pedro Henrique Resende Pedroso and Wagner Eustaquio Duarte Junior.

Cescon Barrieu advised Banco Santander (Brasil), Itaú BBA Assessoria Financeira and UBS Brasil Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários and relied on partners Daniel Laudisio (pictured center), Mariana Rodrigues Machado Borges (pictured right), associates Dimitrios Constantelos, Gabriel Garcia, Fernanda Putrino and intern Ana Elisa Bollini.
