Machado Meyer advise on debenture issue of Quantum

Machado Meyer advised on the 1st issue of simple debentures, non-convertible into shares, of the secured type, in a single serie, for public distribution, under the automatic distribution registration procedure, of Quantum Mantiqueira Participações, under the terms of CVM 160, in the total amount of BRL 850 million.

The funds raised through the issue will be allocated to the acquisition of 50% of the equity stake in Mantiqueira Transmissora de Energia and the remaining for the issuer’s cash flow.

Machado Meyer advised Itaú BBA Assessoria Financeira, Banco Bradesco BBI, Quantum Mantiqueira Participações and relied on partner Raphael Oliveira Zono (pictured), lawyers Beatriz Pecci Marani, Giorgia Giocondo Lopes Rossin and Mario Gomez Carrera Neto.
