T&C and SNA advise on the acquisition of a Leme Plant

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in Association with Mayer Brown advised Agromen and Ferrari on the formation of a joint venture for the acquisition of a sugarcane plant and associated land located (Leme Plant) in the municipality of Leme, State of São Paulo and owned by Raízen, which was advised by Santos Neto Advogados.

The unit has an installed capacity of 1.8 million tons per crop and was sold for approximately BRL 425 million.

The completion of the transaction is subject to approval by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) and other precedent conditions established contractually.
