Mattos Filho and Machado Meyer act on the issuance of Andrina
Mattos Filho advised Itaú BBA Assessoria Financeira, acting as financial advisor/structurer on the first issuance of insurance risk-linked bonds by Andrina Sociedade Seguradora de Propósito Específico (SSPE), in the total amount of BRL 33,750,000.00. Machado Meyer advised IRB(Re) and Andrina SSPE.
The LRS was linked to reinsurance risks transferred by IRB-Brasil Resseguros to SSPE through a risk transfer agreement. This is the first issuance of insurance risk notes under Brazilian law.
