Mattos Filho and Machado Meyer advised on Fras-Le offering

Mattos Filho have acted as Brazilian counsel to Fras-Le, as issuer of the public offering for the primary distribution of 16,666,667 common shares, all nominative, book-entry, with no par value, free and clear of any liens or encumbrances, carried out in the Federative Republic of Brazil, in the over-the-counter market.

Machado Meyer advised the underwriters in the issuance, under the automatic registration procedure, pursuant to article 26, item II, of CVM 160, as amended, aimed exclusively at professional investors, with placement efforts outside Brazil. The transaction value was BRL 400 million.

Mattos Filho relied on partner Jean Arakawa (pictured) and associates Gabriela Rabelo, Laryssa Galvan and Ana Baldini Costa Aranha.

Simpson Thacher also advised the same partie and relied on partners Paulo F. Cardoso, Grenfel S. Calheiros and Doug Ogata (Capital Markets).
