Mattos Filho and Lefosse act on acquisition of Verde Asset by Vinci

Mattos Filho advised Vinci Compass on the acquisition of Verde Asset Management, one of Brazil’s leading multi-strategy asset managers, which was advised by Lefosse.

The transaction was structured as the acquisition of a 50.1% stake at closing, with the remaining 49.9% to be acquired five years later. Verde’s key executives will join Vinci Compass as partners, and the shares they receive as part of the transaction will be subject to lockups with partial releases over a five-year period.
