Machado Meyer advises on Pitangueiras’ note issuance

Machado Meyer acted as deal counsel to Pitangueiras Açúcar e Álcool and Itaú BBA on structuring Pitangueiras’s first issuance of commercial notes, totaling BRL 150 million.

The notes were privately placed and fully subscribed by FIDCs in a transaction aimed at financing priority projects for ethanol and biodiesel production under Law 12,431/11 and related regulations.

Machado Meyer relied on partners Alberto Faro; Thales Tormin Saito; associates Gabriel de Castro Dias and Matheus Faria de Sousa.
