Machado Meyer act on Arco Energia’s commercial notes issuance

Machado Meyer acted as deal counsel in the first public issuance of commercial notes by Arco Energia T1, structured as a single series and backed by collateral and additional surety guarantees, pursuant to CVM Resolution 160.

The USD 86.79 million transaction enabled the restructuring of the Arco Energia group’s indebtedness, providing liquidity to redeem prior debentures and reinforcing its financial position. The issuance also supports the expansion of distributed solar generation projects, contributing to Brazil’s energy transition and ESG aligned financing in the renewable energy sector.
