Bichara Advogados advises JBS on equity and asset divestment

Bichara Advogados advised JBS on the sale of its 50% stake in Meat Snack Partners LLC, a joint venture vehicle engaged in the production, processing, and commercialization of certain meat snack products, to its partner L.S.I.

The transaction involved the cross-border sale of equity interests in target companies incorporated in Delaware (USA) and in Brazil — Meat Snack Partners, Meat Snack Partners do Brasil, and Meat Snack Partners Distribuidora do Brasil — as well as the sale of an industrial real estate asset, including real property and equipment, located in the municipality of Santo Antônio da Posse, in the State of São Paulo. The transaction value was approximately BRL 223 million.
