Martínez de Hoz & Rueda expands with two Strategic team integrations

Argentine full-service firm Martínez de Hoz & Rueda (MHR) has unveiled a significant expansion through the integration of two prominent legal teams, a move that reinforces its corporate and financial capabilities by consolidating its position in the energy and mining sectors.

The firm informed it will incorporate MBP Partners, a boutique practice widely recognized for its work in Corporate and M&A, Banking & Finance, Fintech, Infrastructure Projects, and Pro Bono matters. Founding partners Ignacio Meggiolaro (pictured left) and Victoria Bengochea (pictured center left) will join MHR alongside their entire team of associates.

The integration brings to MHR a group known for advising both domestic and international companies on complex transactions, regulatory frameworks, and strategic business matters. Market observers note that MBP Partners has developed a reputation for handling high-value cross-border deals and innovative financing structures, particularly in emerging and technology-driven sectors.

In parallel, MHR has added a leading mining law team headed by Ignacio Celorrio (pictured center right) and Federico Palavecino (pictured right). The arrival of the mining specialists marks a significant step in the firm’s sector-focused growth strategy, formalizing and expanding its capabilities in one of Argentina’s fastest-growing industries. The team is known for advising on mining concessions, regulatory compliance, project development, and sector-related transactions.

With these additions, MHR increases both its partnership and associate ranks, reinforcing its multidisciplinary platform at a time of renewed investment activity in infrastructure, natural resources, and financial services in Argentina.
