Baruel Barreto promotes a new partner
Baruel Barreto Advogados has promoted Gláucia Vieira Xavier Lataro to partner, strengthening the firm’s tax litigation practice. The move reinforces the São Paulo and Brasília-based firm’s dedicated tax law offering, which advises domestic and international companies on advisory and litigation matters.
Lataro brings more than 25 years of experience in tax disputes to her new role. She advises on litigation strategy and handles appeals before Brazil’s higher courts, working on constitutional and statutory tax matters that involve federal, state, and municipal taxes.
She holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a specialization in Constitutional Tax Law. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Law and Entrepreneurship, with a concentration in Tax Law, at FGV Direito SP
