Madrona advises Valora on BRL 400mn FIDC deal

Madrona Advogados has advised on the formation and public offering of a receivables investment fund (FIDC) sponsored by Valora Renda Fixa Estruturados, in a transaction valued at BRL 400 million.

The firm acted as deal counsel to Valora Renda Fixa Estruturados, serving as investment manager, Banco Daycoval, acting as fiduciary administrator and sole underwriter, and Capital Consig Sociedade de Crédito Direto, as originator, in connection with the creation of the Fundo de Investimento em Direitos Creditórios CLT Capital Responsabilidade Limitada. The transaction involved structuring the fund’s first issuance of quotas, split into senior quotas, mezzanine subordinated quotas and junior subordinated quotas.
