Alcogal assists Banco General in the registration of shares of Supermercados Xtra

Alemán Cordero Galindo & Lee has assisted Banco General, as structurer, in connection with the registration of common shares of Supermercados Xtra with the Superintendencia del Mercado de Valores (SMV) and the Bolsa Latinoamericana de Valores (Latinex) for secondary market trading of such shares, which involved a capital raising of US$45,600,000 million.

The transaction also included the amendment of the terms and conditions of a US$250,000,000 million corporate bond issue of Supermercados Xtra, registered with the SMV, to allow for the early redemption of Series E, F and G of that issue with proceeds from a capital raising.
