Álvarez assists in sale of Mauricio Hochschild to Deutz
Álvarez Abogados has assisted the shareholders of Mauricio Hochschild Ingeniería y Servicios, a company that has been supplying industrial equipment and products for more than 110 years, in the sale of 100% of the company and its branch in Peru, to the German engine manufacturer, Deutz.
The transaction closed on 31 July and also involved Inversiones Renca and minority shareholders in the Chilean and Peruvian jurisdictions. Cortés Zamora acted as advisor in Chile to Deutz.
The advice implied the shareholding structuring, data room preparation, as well as the negotiation and drafting of the relevant documents for the transaction, including the Letter of Intent, Stock Purchase Agreement, among others.
