Andrews Kurth and Nicholson & Cano advised on container terminal loan

Andrews Kurth Kenyon and Nicholson y Cano Abogados acted for IDB Invest on a $30 million loan to Terminal Zarate in Argentina. 

Terminal Zárate is a port terminal for the transfer of containers, general goods and vehicles. It is located in Zárate, in the province of Buenos Aires. 

The Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest) acted as lender and also as agent on behalf of Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). The proceeds of the loan will be used to finance the continued growth of the business. 

Partner Vera Rechsteiner led the team at Andrews Kurth Kenyon which acted as international counsel to IDB Invest.

Nicholson y Cano Abogados advised the lender under local law, partner Mariano Fabrizio fronted the team.
