Arias counsels Holcim on majority acquisition of Minerales y Agregados
Arias Law, through its team in Guatemala, has counselled Grupo Holcim on the majority acquisition of the company Minerales y Agregados.
The advice involved the corresponding pre-acquisition reviews, as well as the preparation and negotiation of the acquisition documents, and other related documents. In addition, advice was provided and co-ordinated the closing of the transaction, including post-closing actions.
This strategic decision reinforces Grupo Holcim’s leadership in Latin America and the world, as well as its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the construction sector.
Minerales y Agregados is a company specialised in the production and commercialisation of mortars, adhesives and calcium carbonate solutions in Guatemala.
Arias’ team was composed of partners Luis Pedro del Valle (pictured left) and Rosa María Arenales (pictured right), senior associate María Elena Barrientos, and associates Florencio Gramajo, Francisco Zuluaga, Juan Carlos Batres and Carlos Flores Presa.
