Arias & Muñoz expands in Panama with merger

Central American law firm Arias & Muñoz announced the addition of partner Yuri Moreno and his law firm, Moreno Vásquez & Asociados.

The move represents a 25% increase in the legal team at the regional law firm´s Panama office. Currently, Arias & Muñoz has 34 partners and over 160 lawyers in Central America.

Yuri Moreno focuses on banking and insurance, as well as general corporate advice to local and foreign companies. His experience includes civil and commercial litigation, real estate transactions, among others. Moreno also had a role as Chief Negotiator of the Foreign Trade Council (1996-1997) during the negotiations of Panama´s Free Trade Agreements with Mexico and Chile.
