Arias & Muñoz expands in Panama with partner addition

Central American law firm Arias & Muñoz announced the addition of Sheyla Soto as a partner in their Panama office. 

Soto is a law graduate and has a Juris Doctor Degree from Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia in Italy. During her career of over 17 years in financial institutions in Panama and Central America, Soto has focused on banking and capital markets as well as commercial law issues of policy and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Arias & Muñoz, Soto was the regional general counsel of BICSA, the Central American bank.

With this latest hire, Arias & Muñoz is now home to 34 partners in the region, including 4 in Panama.
