ARIFA participates on issue of Hospital Hotel La Católica
Arias Fábrega & Fábrega has participated as legal advisor to Banco Internacional de Costa Rica (BICSA) in the cross-border public issuance by Hospital Hotel La Católica of Class E Preferred Shares, convertible into Class B Common Shares, registered with the Superintendencia de Mercado de Capitales de Panamá and the Bolsa Latinoamericana de Valores Latinex.
This cross-border transaction, valued at up to US$30 million, is aimed at strengthening the hospital’s capital structure and financing its growth in health and hospital services.
The advisory involved regulatory requirements, including detailed disclosure of risk factors and adaptation of international best practices.
Hospital Hotel La Católica is the holding company of Hospital Internacional La Católica, one of Costa Rica’s leading hospitals.
