Arruda Advocacia Estratégica announces new digital law practice

Arruda Advocacia Estratégica announced a new phase in its expansion strategy, following the partnership restructuring and the launch of its new brand in 2025. The firm is formalizing the creation of its Digital Law practice and strengthening its legal team with the return of attorneys Tiago Cappi Janini and Isabela Nougués Wargaftig.

The newly established Digital Law practice will be led by Tiago Cappi Janini and further reinforces the firm’s capabilities in Data Protection (LGPD). The practice will focus on providing strategic counsel on matters related to technology use, data protection, and legal risk management in digital environments, in response to increasing regulatory complexity and organizations’ growing digital exposure. Key areas of expertise include digital inheritance and estate, digital assets, cryptoassets, and influencer relations, encompassing contractual structuring, estate planning, and risk management in digital advertising.

Tiago holds a Ph.D. and LL.M. from PUC-SP and completed his postdoctoral studies at UENP. He is the author of Electronic Tax Law and a professor at FMU, with over two decades of experience in the legal field, combining academic rigor with strategic practice.

As part of this growth movement, Isabela rejoins the firm, strengthening its capabilities in corporate, business, and civil law, as well as in M&A (mergers and acquisitions) transactions.

Holding a Master’s degree in Law and with over 20 years of experience in both advisory and litigation matters, Isabela has a solid track record in providing legal counsel to companies, with a focus on corporate structuring, business relationships, and the handling of strategic legal matters in complex environments.
