Azevedo Sette Advogados announces new tax partner

Azevedo Sette Advogados has announced the addition of Renato Lopes da Rocha (pictured) to the firm’s partnership.

The new partner has extensive experience in Administrative Courts and Higher Courts, primarily serving companies in the mining, industrial, steel, commercial, education, healthcare, and consumer goods sectors. With his addition and that of a team of three other attorneys—all with excellent track records and training in their respective fields—we are further strengthening our already prestigious Tax Practice. Renato will handle litigation alongside partner Paulo Penteado de Faria e Silva Neto, who focuses on advisory services.

Renato holds a specialization in Tax Law from IBET (2006) and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from IBMEC (2008). He has also completed extension courses through the Brazilian Association of International Banks on the Main Aspects of Taxation in the Financial and Capital Markets (2016), Taxation of Corporate Structures and Business by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (2016), Stakeholders and ESG by FIA Business School, and the Leadership Fundamentals Course by the London School of Business Administration. He has also completed refresher courses on the Consumer Tax Reform at the Arcadas Foundation and Agile Leadership and Executive Communication at Hyper Island Brazil (2026).

In March 2026, we announced the promotion to partner at the Brasília office of Maíra Konrad de Brito (Tax, Strategic Litigation, and Digital Law) and Juliano Tadeu Ferreira Lisboa (Civil and Contract Law), and in February, in São Paulo, the promotion of Stefania Mariotti (Litigation and TMT) and in Belo Horizonte, that of Svetlana Miranda (Environmental, Mining, and ESG Law).
