Basham advised Sealed Air on Mexican leg of global transaction
Basham acted as Mexican counsel for Sealed Air on its global acquisition of Fagerdala.
Sealed Air Corporation is a global packaging company headquartered in North Carolina. Fagerdala is a manufacturer of polyethylene foam with headquarters in Singapore and manufacturing facilities in China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico and the United States.
Through this deal, worth over $100 million globally, Sealed Air is set to acquire 100% acquisition of the share capital of Fagerdala.
In Mexico, Basham advised and carried out the due diligence process, SPA negotiations and all related procedures leading up to closing. The law firm will also be advising on all post-closing matters in Mexico.
